We believe the future of forecasting belongs to AI that analysts can trust, understand, and control. We've spent over 10 years building that future — one model, one deployment, one breakthrough at a time.
OgenTech was founded with a clear conviction: supply chain forecasting could be dramatically improved by applying the right mathematical and computational tools to the right problems. We started with advanced statistical and analytical methods, building some of the most sophisticated demand planning models in the market.
As computing power grew and data became richer, we recognized the transformative potential of AI. In 2024, we made the leap — deploying production AI models that delivered a quantum improvement in forecasting accuracy, trend detection, and operational efficiency for our clients.
Today, we're building the next frontier: foundation models that serve as a "logistics brain" — accumulating years of operational intelligence and delivering forecasts that are accurate in both routine and crisis scenarios. Every model we build carries our core principle: no black boxes, only transparent, explainable AI.
We refuse to deploy models analysts can't understand. Every prediction comes with clear reasoning — feature importance, attention maps, confidence intervals, and natural language explanations.
We don't force one AI architecture onto every challenge. We evaluate data characteristics and select — or combine — the optimal approach from ensemble trees to foundation models.
Our models learn from human expertise — pharmacist adjustments, analyst insights, domain knowledge — creating a continuous improvement loop where AI and people make each other better.
Our team combines deep expertise in operations research, machine learning, enterprise software, and supply chain management.
CEO
Shlomo brings over three decades of enterprise software leadership to OgenTech. He founded Ofek Technology, building distribution center management systems deployed at multinationals including Nestle, Colgate Palmolive, Philip Morris, and Gillette. After Ofek-tech was acquired by SAP AG in 1998, Shlomo served as Managing Director at SAP Israel before founding OgenTech in 2005.
CTO & VP R&D
Ron is the technological visionary behind OgenTech's AI platform. With a PhD from the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology, specializing in optimization and operations research, he bridges academic rigor with production-grade AI systems. Ron also serves as a Senior Lecturer at Bar-Ilan University's Department of Management, and has published research on interior point methods and mathematical optimization. He leads OgenTech's R&D in AI/ML, deep learning, and foundation model development.
VP Professional Services
Noam leads OgenTech's professional services practice, managing large-scale client deployments and ensuring that AI-powered forecasting solutions translate into real operational impact. He works closely with client teams — from supply chain managers to data analysts — to tailor OgenTech's platform to each organization's unique demand patterns, business rules, and inventory policies. Noam's deep understanding of retail and healthcare supply chains makes him the critical link between cutting-edge AI technology and practical business outcomes.
